CHALLENGE
– Concreting at high loads, executing the work in a short period of time.
SOLUTION
The construction of these new industrial premises in Basel, Switzerland, was executed in a short period of time.
The primary objective was the construction of a robust structure to serve as the headquarters of a well-known Swiss company and the work was carried out using the Forteko® vertical formwork system.
The building is composed of several floors, including an underground floor.
The Forteko® vertical formwork system ensures high levels of versatility and is the most suitable system for this type of work.
The Forteko® system was used for the walls, panels beams and pillars.
All the panels were combined in the vertical and horizontal position, with no limitations and allowing for concreting of up 90 Kn/m² pursuant to the conditions of standard DIN 18218.
