CHALLENGE
– The adaptation of the elements of the Adapt Multidirectional System to the building;
– The reinforcement of the support points in the multidirectional structure.
SOLUTION
The Peruwelz reservoir, in Belgium, is located alongside the French border and has a capacity of 400 m³ of water. It is a major source of water for local homes and the multidirectional Adapt System was chosen to conduct the rehabilitation work.
Recognised for its modular nature, ease of use and rapid assembly, Metalusa Export & Engineering adapted the structure to the layout of the original building pursuant to the calculations and reinforced the support points in the structure to guarantee total safety against the forces generated by the effect of the wind, which is always strong in this region.
All the requirements of this project were met and it was a success.
