The Campanhã Intermodal Terminal (TIC) is an innovative transport and mobility project in the city of Porto, in addition to being a major architectural and engineering enterprise.
Featuring 24,000 square metres of total gross constructed area, this is a revolutionary project in the field of environmental sustainability, and is due to become the largest carbon absorption hub in the city: the complex´s totally green roof and landscaped surrounding area will amount to 46,000 square metres of green space.
The work employed several Metalusa systems, such as the Adapt multidirectional system, the Forteko vertical wall formwork system and the Towrok shoring system.
The versatility of Metalusa’s systems is one of their biggest advantages.
The option of combining elements and the speed of assembly and disassembly are extremely important factors in demanding works with strict delivery deadlines.
