The team LA Alumínios-Metalusa-BlackJack returns to work in one of the most important competitions of the national calendar, the Volta ao Algarve. The squad led by José Augusto enters the competition as early as the 15th, Wednesday, with the goal to be in the highest position possible in the overall classification. The Volta ao Algarve involves, as usual, some of the strongest squads in the World, including teams from the WorldTour, such as: Astana, Bora-hansgrohe, Cannondale-Drapac, Katusha-Alpecin, Movistar, Team Sky, Trek-Segafredo, among others.
The Volta ao Algarve will be live-broadcasted to 68 millions of homes, distributed in 55 countries. In Portugal the race can be watched on Eurosport and TVI24.
